Danceverse ("we," "us") is a dance training company based in Portland, Oregon. This policy explains what information we collect from families, how we use it, and the choices you have.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
• Parent/guardian details: name, email address, and, if you choose to provide it, mobile phone number.
• Dancer details: your dancer's name and age.
• Account activity: lesson requests and bookings, schedules, attendance, and billing and payment records.
HOW WE USE IT
• To create and manage your family account and portal access.
• To schedule lessons and let you know about schedule changes.
• To send invoices, payment receipts, and tuition reminders.
• To respond to your questions and requests.
We do not sell your personal information.
TEXT MESSAGES (SMS)
If you check the text-message box when you sign up, we will send texts about lessons, schedule changes, and billing to the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing to texts is not required to enroll.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts.
• Reply HELP for help, or email us at the address below.
Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
WHO WE SHARE INFORMATION WITH
We share information only with service providers who help us run Danceverse, and only as needed to provide our services: website hosting, our account database, email delivery, and text-message delivery. These providers may not use your information for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law.
HOW WE PROTECT IT
Your account data is stored with access controls so that each family can see only their own records. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
YOUR CHOICES
• You can view and update your details in the family portal.
• You can ask us to correct or delete your information by emailing us.
• You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
CHILDREN'S INFORMATION
Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian. We collect only the dancer information a parent or guardian provides, and we use it only to coach and schedule that dancer.
